I love 60′s fashion.
Why, you ask?
Because the world of fashion was changing rapidly in the sixties. Women in the 60′s were going in so many different directions with their look. Some held on to the full skirts, cigarette pants, and big hair of the 50′s. Some women idolized the new stick-thin super models permeating Europe. While other women opted for the free, liberated look of the hippie. Either way, the turbulent social climate in the sixties left a powerful and indelible mark that is still with us today.

FYI – I’m an OPI girl through and through… but I have been really impressed with Rimmel’s 60 Second Nail Polish. It’s only like $2.50 and a it’s a pretty good quality nail polish; probably one of my top drug store brands. So, great choice including that in your Twiggy collage. I approve!

I love looking at my parents/aunts/uncles’ photos and all they wore in the 60s. My cousins and I would always marvel at the hemlines we would’ve been grounded for life for wearing and that my uncle’s hair was always longer and more luscious than that of his dates’. Of course my mom kept nothing!
I adore Jackie O and her style is truly timeless. If she were alive, she would’ve turned 80 a few days ago. People try to emulate her, but they’ll never do it quite as good.

Jackie O all the way! I love her … and her style is just amazing. I love all the ladylike jackets and bags and the pillbox hats. Now that I think of it, I even did a post inspired by her style a very long while ago.

Anyways, I love all the looks. I’m really into the layering looks of the modern day hippie. It’s probably more my style.. But I’ll always love Twiggy – so adorable. I just want to put the 60s Twiggy in a box and play with her.

i’ve always had a thing for mod, so i would say my favorite is twiggy. i love the mod silhouette and british style. and i love twiggy’s wide eyed look.
that’s so true- fashion has gone back to the 60′s- all the big bumble bee sunglasses and hippie headbands! Though I do enjoy them bumble bee sunglasses haha!
yeah lady gaga is kind of a trainwreck.. though she does have some catchy tunes I will admit!
