There were a million reasons not to love the Balloon Festival:
- the 5 am wakeup call
- The subzero temperatures
- the inevitably bad parking situation that required my party and me to engage in far more walking than any person should be forced to do before noon.
Nevertheless, the festival was AWESOME!! It was so beautiful and fun.
Now, it should be noted that I did not go up in one of the balloons. I was merely an observer on the ground. It was still fantastic. If you ever have a balloon festival in your town (or state), you should totally try and go.

I’m glad you had fun! They have festivals not too far from where I live, but I never go. I just will be driving and when I look up I’ll see a random balloon.
Cats can get lonely, but honestly it all depends. If you get two cats it won’t be an issue, if you just have one, there could be drama aka. coming home from a long weekend with vomit all over your floor, cuz cats totally throw up on your stuff as revenge- trust.
