Have you ever looked at a fashion magazine or a runway show and though “Who wears this stuff”? Well, folks, your endless quest for answers is finally over. Fashionistas wear it. Not only do they wear it; they look pretty darn good in it, too. Trends are to fashionistas as wings are to a bird (pretty poetic, eh?).
Allow us to go back to basic communications theory according to Rogers’ Diffusion of Innovations. Have I lost you? Okay well basically, in this case, the fashionista is the innovator and everyone else follows suit. Still don’t understand? Let’s take a look at some fashionistas who are absolutely trend-tastic.

Hah! That’s true, fashionistas do love trends! Although, I have to say, that I like to stick away from trends as much as I can. Especially the REALLY tacky ones. Um, like, crocs. For example.

I’d have to agree with the poster above me. Crocs are only cute on children under 5! The ONLY adults I will throw in the exception card for are doctors/nurses!
As for the shoes, they are hideous, period. I totally believe in artistic creativity within the fashion world, but let’s be frank… no one in their right mind would ever wear those. And if you bring up Courtney Love, Lindsay Lohan or Rose McGowan… I will repeat, no one in their right mind. Haha
Both of the ladder outfits are fantastic! Although I despise the boots. Leave the ugly browns at the stables!

I can’t embrace a trend unless it’s something I love regardless and something I know I’ll love for a long time. I suppose that’s why I still wear stuff I had from my college (even HS) days. But of course, being very impressionable in HS, I did have some trends – like wearing the biggest flares ever – my goodness, I could’ve strapped a bag of potatoes to my legs and no one would’ve noticed…except for the fact that I’d probably be walking like I had bags of potatoes strapped to my legs.

i’m a big fan of minimal trends cuz when someone goes overboard on the trends i just find it tacky and somewhat douchey. lol.
