New York has a certain magic for fashionistas. Perhaps it is the endless avenues of cute and fashion-forward stores; perhaps it is the ample supply of well-dressed, flawlessly manicured women walking the streets who serve as real-life fashion inspiration; perhaps it is the fact that the best Fashion Week in the world is held right here in this gorgeous city.
Hey, maybe it’s just the succulent smelling street carts beckoning you to try one of the city’s delicious hot dogs.

New York is the one place I’ve always wanted togo! It sounds like such a dream city.
the energy, the lights, the shopping, the bustle. EVERYTHING!
I love having my laundry sent out, having a bodega, wine shop, and any kind of food I want delivered to me at most anytime. And if not, they are a stones throw away. I also really love what the movers and shakers are doing in Harlem.

I go to NYC a lot to visit my bff in Manhattan and brother in Brooklyn.. and I love that no matter how many times I go, I always discover something/someplace new!

There is nothing that I don’t love about New York City. The bright lights, the diverse groups of people, the history. It is the most perfect place in the world!
NYC is so great. I love the energy and how people from all walks of life visit Broadway to go to performances: from the West Coast model who bartends during the day looking to catch her first big break, to the established artistocrats who leave their homes on Park Avenue to catch a play, to the friendly tourists who took a picture of me and my friends while we were waiting on line to go into the theatre.
As a native, I love NYC and I think you will enjoy it too when you visit.
Ahhh…New York!! It’s number one on my list to go visit someday and get a job there!! So many of my favorite fashion magazines are there! And Central Park! xxoxoxoxo

Fashion, style, lights, energy. I’ve never been there but oh man do I want to.
I haven’t been to NY for ages. The last time I only stayed for 3 days and felt slightly overwhelmed (but perhaps also because I really wanted to escape to Cape Cod). Next time I will take it all in – and I hope this will be soon!

New York has an amazing energy. I’m going there right after I graduate for a little self-present. And yes, all the wonderfully dressed women and men around honestly make you try to dress better yourself too!

I love the fact that as neurotic as New Yorkers are (supposedly)… they’re still way more friendly than the locals in other large cities. Of course it depends on who you run into, but I’m talking in general (and not about the snooty fashion execs). I also like the fact it’s rough around the edges. You have large avenues, Central Park, but also dodgier alleys and not-so-great neighborhoods. I think it’s what makes NYC ‘real’. And it’s definitely multi-cultural.
I will disagree though and say it doesn’t have the best Fashion Week in the world
I prefer London and Paris, but that’s only because of the designers that show there…
NYC has some of the best shopping hands down. You’re pretty much guaranteed to find exactly what you’re looking for and when it’s on sale – it’s REALLY on sale. I love it.
