There was a time in the early to mid 90’s when overalls made a huge splash in mainstream fashion (which, I will say, was directly inspired by a style worn by popular hip-hop artists of time. Isn’t it funny how hip-hop always dictates what we wear? I mean, every boy used to sag his pants… some, unfortunately, still do. They certainly didn’t come up with that style themselves!)
Anyway, I had a pair of overalls back then. They were from The Gap. And they were awesome.
If overalls decided to make their triumphant return… I would totally wear them. For realz! I would be in the front of the line at my local Zara buying the cutest pair of dark wash, “professionally” worn, slightly baggy overalls. Even though overalls are admittedly ugly and don’t exact highlight my feminine physique they are still wonderful.
Do you have an overalls story? Would you ever wear overalls if they came back in fashion?

Stumble It!
The perfect winter coat and hat helps you stay warm and feel feminine.
A cowl neck and tousled hair is super chic and ultra warm!
Experiment with neutral makeup this winter. For a dramatic effect, play up the eyes or go for a red lip!
high-waisted, girly skirts and thick, warm stockings are a go-to look this winter
Boots of all shapes and sizes are so in an so practical for the cold months ahead!

Natalia would look amazing wearing a garbage bag tied up around her waist with frayed rope and day old spaghetti and meatball leftovers as straps.

I used to wear shorts overalls…basically a jumper. My favorite one was a pink and white checkered one that I wore on my first roadtrip to Santa Barbara for a dog show! I wish I could still fit them because they were great

Me too! Yes, I would wear them too. Overalls and dungarees… I do have one, but it looks too early 90s (and is green…), will have to look for a new one!

I have had short overalls, but I love this idea of a long overall. In fact, now that I am thinking, I have a pink corduroy overall.

Almost a bit funny that you chose an icon with such an item. I’d love to wear some too but I’d love to see a rough twist on them.

The last time I attempted to even try on overalls my daughters told me I looked like a plumber so the answer to that would be …….NO! Desides the only middle aged woman to even look remotely cute in overalls was Shirley McLain in Steel Magnolias.

I remember overalls from the 90’s. Actually, in England, tey were in style a few years ago. People used to wear them like normal jeans and leve the sleeve bit hanging down. We looked so cool, lol.

I would wear them if I found the perfect pair! Unfortunately back when the trend emerged, I couldn’t find one that I liked.
But I do wish the baggy jeans trend for men would die. I unfortunately do still know enough guys who think it’s cool to have the jeans pocket hit the back of your knees

Overalls came back for a very brief amount of time my frosh year of highschool. I had a pair. I wore them with a white spaghetti-strap tank top. and those awful slip on white sneakers. Looking back, I must’ve looked like an infant but… this boy who liked me always wanted me to wear that outfit. Prob bc of the tank. xo

I would totally wear them. Why? Because I have a mild obsession with overalls; and wore them for years and years as a child. I’m sorry…they’re cute!!

Sorry, pregnancy ruined them for me.

When I was younger, I was obsessed with overalls. In grade 5, they were the only pants I wore. I had them in all colours – lime green, turquoise, hot pink. The epitome of fashionista. lol

I never caught on to the overall trend….

Hmm well I was either nonexistent or an little toddler in the early nineties, so I think my wardrobe mainly was overalls and variations of such.
I think I might just try them, in a sort of Jane Birkin way…? Hmm it’d be quite interesting

I had a denim overall dress I believe. But I think my actual overalls were khaki…so long ago.
I might revisit, if the pair is right, it’s gotta be perfect and the ones I tried never were, hence me going with the khakis.
