I choose cosmetics based on their toxicity rating on the EWG’s Skin Deep Database. I also use organic soaps and lotions, and make my own facial astringent using essential oils.

I’m not a big makeup wearer so I’m not a big makeup buyer. Lol. I enter a lot of giveaways though and have won a lot of eco friendly types of makeup and skin care and other things as well. I am trying to be better for the environment so it will still be around for my grandchildren one day.

My fave eco friendly beauty tip is making cantaloupe juice in my juicer…. drinking the juice is excellent for your skin, and making a mask from the pulp makes your face feel amazing!
