One time, I was in a bit of predicament about what I should wear — as always. The girl I was with told me that I should “shop my closet”. Meaning, that what I had to wear was hanging in my closet lying in a heap on the floor right in my own house.
I took her advice and shopped my closet. What did I find? My very first piece of clothing from Anthropologie! My mom bought me this skirt forever ago and it was my favorite thing back in the day. It was one of my first fairly expensive pieces of clothing and I basically wore this skirt every opportunity I got.
I must say that closet shopping was quite a success! I challenge you to do the same thing. It really is pretty fun. Be sure to check those back crevices and bottom drawers, the best finds require some digging.

Reblogged this on Elektra.
That bow is sweet. Did it come with the skirt or did you add it?

Hey Suzanne! Yes, the bow came on the skirt — it’s part of the reason why I love it so much
I typically throw things out/donate when I’m not wearing them too often (I’m as far away from a hoarder as possible!) so shopping my closet is pretty boring but I’m glad you were able to find this gorgeous piece in yours! Lookin’ great Clara.

Sorry it’s been a while. I try to shop my closet too, but it’s not always a success. Glad you were able to find a piece that you remembered you loved.
gorgeous skirt!! great soft color pink bow, it gives the skirt a very elegant and classy look
you are so adorable!
If only, like you, I could squeeze more than one leg into a skirt from “forever ago”…
Beautiful!
I’ve been shopping my closet so much more these days. Love what I’m finding!
You look great. Really love your skirt.
