Post Holiday Detox

winter preppy styleYou guys, I went H.A.M on the Christmas cookies this holiday season. I honestly ate about six dozen. No judgement! This is a judgement-free blog, people!

Anyway, I am kicking off the New Year by eating healthily. I tried to do a no-carb, no sugar diet, but I quickly realized that reducing my calorie intake that much did NOT mesh with breastfeeding Hannah — so instead of elimination, I am doing moderation.

I am also making sure I increase my vegetable intake. More veggies, less cookies that’s my 2016 food motto!

This Red Robin seasoning is the BEST for all veggies. Chop them up, mix with a little EVOO, and sprinkle some of this on it. Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes or so. If you want to get fancy, you can even flip the veggies halfway through. I have one of these, and use it at least twice a week, and it’s still over half full 2+ years later.

Same. I ate so much junk over the holidays that I’m actually excited to eat healthier this year! I’d love to know about any recipes you may have.

I’m eating moderately so far this year as well – I definitely over indulged during the holidays.
Loving your dress here too! So pretty.
