I should make it clear that I don’t love scottie dogs as much as my blog might make it seem. I mean, I love all dogs — dogs are the best. I seriously have no idea why cats are having such a moment right now, especially when dogs are clearly the superior animal.
But anyway, there aren’t a lot of sweaters with other breeds of dogs on them. So that is why I have so many scottie dog sweaters. Just thought you all should know. The End.

I would like to take a moment to commend the amazing men and women of the fashion blogging universe for taking outfit photos all year ’round. That ish is hard. So hard, I have developed the dreaded freezing fists.
What is freezing fists you ask?
Well, friend, freezing fists happen when you go out to take outfit photos and your fists get so cold that they involuntarily ball up into tiny frozen fists in a commendable, but ultimately failing, effort to warm themselves. Freezing fists are often found in every outfit photo taken between the months of November and March. Please see the photo below for an in-depth analysis:

Have y’all seen that Tommy Hilfiger commercial where everyone is all dressed up in their most preppy duds and they are dancing around at what appears to be a moderately fun house party? Yea, well I am hoping this outfit will gain me admission to that moderately fun party. Then, in the morning, I will meet Daphne at the Club to nurse my hangover with a bloody Mary brunch. After brunch I will put on my tennis whites and pretend to play tennis, but really I will just sit on the Club’s south-view veranda and drink more.
Back to reality, you can tell by these photos that my hair is CRAZY dry (it gets that way sometimes — esp in the winter). I am going to try my first at-home protein treatment today. So I will let you know how it goes!

Let me tell you, putting together an outfit when it is super cold is definitely a bummer. It is not easy to look cute and be warm. But, I have a secret weapon that will save us all — JEWELS! I have been stocking up on jewelry like a crazy person. I can throw on my winter uniform (i.e. a sweater, a button down, jeans, and boots) and jazz the look up with some cute costume jewelry. Presto! The outfit is cool.
