Today is our last day in Virginia (insert tragedy face). It’s been fun (and not too cold!) but now we must return to freezing NYC. It is supposed to be 19 degrees this weekend! Not cool — no pun intended.

When I put on this outfit I was all like, “Oh, this is basically the quintessential preppy girl uniform.” All I am missing is a monogram somewhere. I will pick up something monogrammed for the next time I wear this. Maybe a scarf? I actually did order monogrammed pillowcases. So maybe I can put one of those over my head.

I bought a pair of Frye boots months ago. Occasionally I open the box and smell the leathery goodness. I decided that I couldn’t wait any longer and broke them out for a premature Fall post. My feet were sweating the whole time — it was totally worth it to wear my boots.
