A few of you asked for me to “stand up” so that you could see my whole look when I introduced you all to Falstaff. Well you are in luck! There were a few full body photos. The entire look is below.
When I put on this outfit I was all like, “Oh, this is basically the quintessential preppy girl uniform.” All I am missing is a monogram somewhere. I will pick up something monogrammed for the next time I wear this. Maybe a scarf? I actually did order monogrammed pillowcases. So maybe I can put one of those over my head.
at the present i am…
wearing: My comfy new Asos tee, these mom-ish jeans from the Gap and a chunky brown belt
listening: Solange “Losing You”
reading: Mommie Dearest
watching: Oh gosh, everything! The Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire, Modern Family, etc.
doing: Just hanging out and stuff
loving: Green tea lemonade from Starbucks. Unsweetened, of course. I could drink it by the gallon.
hating: Fall, because Fall lasts for about two weeks and then it is Winter. Winter is the worst season.
wishing: For another pair of Frye boots. It’s an addiction!
wanting: A Cinnabon. Well, the middle of a Cinnabon. That is the best part.
Is the title of this post inappropriate? I always feel like a Napoleon Dynamite reference is necessary. Also, these photos were shot at the beautiful Columbia University. So yea, the title is spot on.
Shoes: Frye | Jeans: The Gap | Belt: H&M | Shirt: Target | Blazer: Zara (last year) | Headband: Gift (from J. Crew) | Bag: Kiosk at the mall years ago | Glasses: Elizabeth and James
I bought a pair of Frye boots months ago. Occasionally I open the box and smell the leathery goodness. I decided that I couldn’t wait any longer and broke them out for a premature Fall post. My feet were sweating the whole time — it was totally worth it to wear my boots.
