If you didn’t already know, I am a pretty aggressive online shopper. I don’t usually like to shop in store because they never have my size, or the selection isn’t good, etc., etc., etc.,. So I have found that if you have a fairly good grasp of your measurements, online shopping can be pretty painless. However, there are certain things that can be scary to buy online. Like, a wedding dress — or glasses.
But don’t worry, I am here to calm your online ordering fears. About glasses. Don’t buy your wedding online. You should absolutely try it on first.
Anyway, I got these fabulous frames off Firmoo. A cute little online store that specializes in glasses and sunglasses (crushing on these). The eyewear is super affordable (score!) and you can get every frame either with or without a prescription. Since I am the blindest person ever, I got my glasses with a prescription. Firmoo even has a place where you can simply upload your glasses prescription so you don’t have to type anything in! (score!). I’m sure you’re thinking, ‘How did you know those frames would look good on you?! You seem insane. I would never buy my glasses online.”
Well, my skeptical friend, if you are a lifetime glasses wearer like me you have a pretty good idea of what types of frames best suit your face. If you’re not a lifetime glasses wearer, I recommend trying some glasses on in a store to get a gauge of the types of frames that work best for you. Then when you’re ready to take the plunge and buy glasses online, you can also use Firmoo’s try on tool when you pick the frames you like (score AGAIN!).

Since it snowed on the first day of Spring, I feel like I have every right to wear my wintery plaid well into April. It’s only fair.

Hi all! Happy New Year! I took a short blogging break to spend some time relaxing on the couch with the hubsters. We watched enough HGTV to last a lifetime!
But don’t worry, I am back to start the new year with regular posts.

Okay, I realize this park is not even close to the woods. But anywhere where trees take up a large amount of space is basically the woods to a city slicker like me.

Sometimes I get into a rut in the fall and winter and pretty much only wear black. I am hoping that investing in a few pops of color will add some life to my cold weather wardrobe.

You guys, I am wearing the first watch I have worn in years in this post. My dear friend started a watch company called Vierra and I, of course, had to have one.
I feel so cool checking my wrist instead of my phone for the time.
