Have y’all seen that Tommy Hilfiger commercial where everyone is all dressed up in their most preppy duds and they are dancing around at what appears to be a moderately fun house party? Yea, well I am hoping this outfit will gain me admission to that moderately fun party. Then, in the morning, I will meet Daphne at the Club to nurse my hangover with a bloody Mary brunch. After brunch I will put on my tennis whites and pretend to play tennis, but really I will just sit on the Club’s south-view veranda and drink more.
Back to reality, you can tell by these photos that my hair is CRAZY dry (it gets that way sometimes — esp in the winter). I am going to try my first at-home protein treatment today. So I will let you know how it goes!

Shabby Apple sent me this dress and, like everything else on their site, the dress is adorable. It is absolutely perfect for work or a midday lunch date. The dress is also part of Shabby Apple’s amazing emerging designers program. Now, for those of you who design clothing, it can be very tough to find a reputable vendor to sell your pieces. Shabby Apple is literally asking for designers to submit their pieces for a chance to have them sold on their site.

The lovely folks over at Shabby Apple sent me this maxi skirt and I am so excited to show it off. I have never worn a maxi skirt before. Mostly because I thought a maxi skirt would make me look like a teacher. And not a good teacher with an unlimited supply of J. Crew outfits from the Factory Store (teacher’s salary, everyone), a bad kind of teacher that wears kitten sweaters and clogs and, er, maxi skirts.
But Shabby Apple came through, and I am quite pleased with my maxi skirt. It is super cute for spring and summer, no?
